Mission:
Men of Rocky seek to become “fully devoted followers of Christ” by pursuing authentic relationships with other men in a atmosphere of honesty, openness, and a sincere desire to become the men God has called them to be.
Iron Hour:
The primary way to accomplish our mission is through small groups called “Iron Hour”. These are based upon the words in Ecclesiastes, “as iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” A variety of times and places are chosen to meet the needs of individuals. In addition, each group determines the subject matter they wish to pursue. Currently three groups are available:
Tuesday: 6:30 am-7:30am at Starbuck’s - Bible Study
Wednesday: 6:30 am-7:30am at the Church - Prior Weekend’s Message
Thursday: 7:00 pm-9:00 pm at the Church - Bible Study
Special Events:
Larger gatherings of men occur two to three times per year. These times offer men who are unable to attend an Iron Hour, or who wish to become familiar with Rocky Men’s Ministry an opportunity to participate. These events are published well in advance and are typically held on a Friday evening.
