Mission:
Men of Rocky seek to become “fully devoted followers of Christ” by pursuing
authentic relationships with other men in an atmosphere of honesty, openness,
and an intentional pursuit to become the men God has called them to be. We actively and consistently study
God’s Word, which provides the framework for men to become fully devoted
followers of Christ.
Iron Hour:
The primary way to accomplish our mission is through small groups called “Iron
Hour”. These are based upon the words in Proverbs 27:17, “as iron
sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” A variety of times and places are
chosen to meet the needs of individuals. In addition, each group determines the
subject matter they wish to pursue.
Wednesday: 6:00am - 7:30am at
the Church – Men's Fraternity, The Quest For Authentic Manhood
Special Events:
Larger gatherings of men occur two to three times per year. These times offer
men, who are unable to attend an Iron Hour or who wish to become familiar with
Rocky Men’s Ministry, an opportunity to participate. Annually, we hold two
Steak Barbeques – one in the Spring and a second in the Fall; secondly, we have
a mid-winter Men’s Breakfast. These
events are published well in advance.
